Mugdha Godse cheats

Although Rubb and his team have registered the script now, they are deeply hurt because of being betrayed by Mithun and Mugdha. Consequently, Rubb and Mithun don’t even look at each other after their friendship of five years ended on a bitter note.

After asking newcomers Rubb Bhungdawala and Sundeep Choudhary to write the script of her next film Trance, in which she co-stars with on-off boyfriend Mithun Purandare, Mugdha didn’t think twice before paying them a paltry Rs 10,000 and taking complete possession of the script. What’s even more shocking is that Rubb was Mithun’s close friend before things went wrong.

Mugdha, Neil in Madhur’s next

She is barely three films old but Mugdha Godse has already learnt some infamous Bollywood tricks.

Madhur chooses Marilyn over Madhubala

Rubb, a corporate ad director, was introduced to Mugdha by Mithun. Rubb says, “Sandeep and I were asked to direct this film. Our team also comprised scriptwriter Harish Kotiyan and associate director Rauf Bhungdawala.

We prepared over 19 drafts and left our regular jobs to work on this film. We were aware that Mugdha is the film’s lead actress, but later we also got to know that she is also the co-producer with Sanjay Pandey who owns the production house Full Power Entertainment in Bandra East.”

Mugdha goes back to her Ex-boyfriend
Rubb says that they didn’t sign any contract as they blindly trusted Mithun and Mugdha. Rubb was shocked when Mithun, Mugdha and Sanjay Pandey handed them Rs 10,000 and ‘bought’ the script. “Mugdha and Mithun used us and threw us away. After giving us the money, they also gave an emotional speech of how much they appreciate our hard work.

I don't listen to anyone but myself: Mughda Godse

We worked really hard for almost three months to write this film based on drugs. We also had regular meetings with Mugdha at her Versova residence.

They also said that they don’t want us to direct this film and are looking for a high-profile director. Thereafter we haven’t received a single call from them. I have all the SMSes from Mugdha on my phone when she used to contact me while we were working on the script,” adds Rubb.

Commenting on Mithun’s reaction, Rubb says, “Mithun is Mugdha’s chamcha. She is the sole decision maker. Woh usko bolti hai uth toh uth, baith toh baith. One of the most important reasons she didn’t want us on board was because this is Mithun’s launch movie so we wrote the script keeping his character in mind. She is self-centred. She didn’t like the idea of me and or my team giving so much attention to him.”

Mugdha Godse loves being at her own pace

After making an impressive debut in FASHION, Mugdha Godse enjoyed the release of two her films - ALL THE BEST and JAIL - almost back to back. However, ever since then, she hasn't seen a release to her name. While it has been close to six months since the release of these films, Mugdha's HELP is a little while away. Doesn't she ever feel that a prolonged absence like this could be harmful to one's career?

"Yes, it did play in my mind but not for much time", Mugdha says after a pause, "But then as you also must be aware, there are so few projects that anyways kick started in the film industry last year. So many films have either stopped shooting or are completed but stuck for release. There are lot of things happening today and these are slightly fickle times. The thing is that since ALL THE BEST and JAIL released within a fortnight of each other, people feel that I have been missing from the scene for six months. If there was a gap of three months between the two films, the pace would have looked just perfect."

Mugdha goes back to her Ex-boyfriend

This is the reason why she is content with the way her personal and professional life is treating her.

"Everything is going good. There is no empty space for anything. Also, I don't think that an actor can do more than 3 films a year. That too is a maximum limit by the way. Meanwhile, I have finished a horror thriller HELP with Bobby Deol and it is up for release. So audience would be seeing me again. In any case I was so busy with other things as well other than shooting. There were award functions, performances and appearances as well. So as you can see, the other side of an actor's life was pretty much on". Mugdha brings on a laugh before signing off.

Mugdha goes back to her Ex-boyfriend

Looks like whatever happens, happens for the best. Mugdha Godse, who had a car accident on Wednesday, had one little thing to gain from it – she got her ex-boyfriend, model/actor Mithun Purandare into her life again. Though they aren't dating again, they have been spending time together.

She relied on Mithun for help when she was in trouble after the accident. As she barely has any close friends in Mumbai, she didn't know what she wanted to do when the accident turned into a police case.

She realized she needed a man with her as there was a chance of things going against her. That's when she thought of Mithun. This is the first time she got back in touch with Mithun after their breakup last year.

Mugdha and Mithun became friends when they met for the shooting of a music video directed by Jagdish Mali in 2003. They dated for about five years until their split in 2009.

Mithun got there as soon as he could and accompanied her home after all her work at the police station finished around 1.30pm in the night. According to sources, they spent some time talking to each other in the night and their feelings for each other seemed quite clear.

I don't listen to anyone but myself: Mughda Godse

She comes from a totally non-filmi background and is just three-movies-old in Bollywood, but Mugdha Godse trusts her own instinct when it comes to taking up new projects.

The actress, who got her first big break in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion' two years ago, credits her own good judgement for the choices she made.

"I am a hardcore Leo who doesn't listen to anyone. That's the way I have always been, I follow my heart. I have come from Pune to Mumbai on my own and this is the way I intend to stay on in this industry as well," Mugdha told PTI.

After debuting with Madhur Bandarkar's 'Fashion', the former model went on to do 'All The Best' which raked in the moolah at the box-office.

Mugdha Godse: I don't want to do anything stupid

Mugdha Godse is taking it easy. Despite a good success rate with two hits (FASHION, ALL THE BEST) and one critically acclaimed film (JAIL), Mugdha isn't allowing her PR drive to go on an overactive mode. Instead she is waiting for the best to come out of this lean phase which she believes is actually good for the industry because now is the time for better films to be kick started. So one can foresee Mugdha to be pretty much continuing her chilling mode till she gets hold of that perfect script that works?

"Yes, I have been shooting continuously on HELP with Bobby Deol for some time so now for next 3-4 months, I would be chilling", smiles Mugdha, "There are 2-3 films in pipeline but let the right time come for an announcement to be made. Meanwhile, I have been travelling for work across India so that makes me good and feel happy."

Reflecting over the last few months, Mugdha says, "For an entire year, I didn't get much time to think and decide what I wanted to do in my career. I was working non-stop like a dog. But now I can relax and decide upon my next course of action. I finally have the kind of space where I can think that what do I want to do and what I don't want to do. I am sure that I don't want to do anything stupid just for the heck of it. I want to work with good people."

So do these 'good people' have to be established in the industry or are you game for new entrants as well?

"Anyone", promptly replies Mugdha, "Whether he/she is new or renowned. See, today it is novelty that sells. Whoever gets that factor going is good. In any case, you don't know what is working at the box office. In a way this is also the best phase for every actor. I want to go with the flow."

Mugdha in Help

When you are in urgent need of assistance, the first word that you use is 'Help'... which also happens to be the name of the upcoming film that stars the never-before tried pair of Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse.
According to the confirmed sources, Help is a supernatural horror film that draws upon the story of a malevolent spirit that refuses to leave the human world. The source also added that Bobby Deol plays the role of a successful horror film director in Bollywood who is married to Mugdha Godse. The couple are having marital problems and in the midst of their troubled marriage, they have to rush Mauritius to visit Mugdha's ailing father. Little do they know that there's something ancient and dark that remains still, hidden and silent in the old house where Mugdha grew up.

Talking about the film, Bobby says, "The film has been beautifully shot and I must say it's one the finest horror films that the audience will see. It's chilling, gruesome and the kind of horror which gives you goose bumps. Help will take the horror genre in India to another level. My character in the film is extremely well defined and I am sure people will like the new Bobby in the film."

Mugdha, on the other hand says, "I have done glamorous roles as well as de-glam roles in the past but with Help, you will see me in a role which is much more acting oriented. It is the role of a lifetime and I had to prepare really hard to inhabit the skin of the character I was to play."

All in all, Help seems to be a film to watch out for!

Mughda helped by Lassi to shoot spooky scenes

It was co-star Bobby Deol's idea to help her shoot the scene in horror flick Help

While shooting for horror flick Help, Mugdha Godse gulped down the jitters with lassi.

Thanda le lo!
She had her co-star Bobby Deol to thank. The Punjab da puttar made sure that the cooling drink did the rounds on the sets. "There were a lots of lassi glasses available on the sets," she says.

The supernatural thriller is now complete and its first look will be unveiled during an awards event in June. Directed by debutant Rajeev Virani and produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey, Help was shot in Mumbai and Mauritius. It is slated for a July release.

Under character's skin
Says Mugdha, "I have done a glam role (Fashion) as well as a deglam look (Jail) but this movie has both looks. I had to prepare really hard to inhabit the skin of the character I was to play. I must admit that it was a spooky experience getting the prosthetic makeup done."

What Help is about...
Bobby Deol plays Vic, a horror film director married to Pia (Mugdha Godse). Though the couple are having differences, they have to rush to Mauritius to visit Pia's ailing father. But there is something lurking in the house where Pia grew up. Concealed for years, it now wants to strike back at the residents of the place.

Mugdha is Madhur's discovery

Actress Mugdha Godse was recently in Delhi to walk the ramp for designer Ranna Gill. It was when we were talking to Ranna about Mugdha that she told us that the actress was discovered by director Madhur Bhandarkar on Ranna’s runway.

She said, “Mugdha was part of a show of mine. There was a bit of a ‘ooh’ moment when I came out and asked the girls ‘Who can wear a bikini?’. Because in those days, it was very difficult to get a ramp model to model a bikini. But Mugdha readily agreed and said she’d do it. She wore it and walked so confidently on the ramp that Madhur spotted her. He said she looks gorgeous and decided to cast her in his film.”

Well, that’s luck by chance, we say!
