Mugdha Godse cheats
Although Rubb and his team have registered the script now, they are deeply hurt because of being betrayed by Mithun and Mugdha. Consequently, Rubb and Mithun don’t even look at each other after their friendship of five years ended on a bitter note.

Before making his dream project with Kareena Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar is all set to make a comedy film, which will be a quickie. The film has Neil Mukesh and Mugdha Godse in lead roles and is titled Dil Toh Baccha Hai.
“Kareena is doing Madhur’s next film, but she has given dates in October and Madhur has six months before that, so he has decided to make a quick film in the meanwhile. He has Neil and Mugdha and wants one more major actor in the film. He is in talks with Sanjay Dutt for the film and things are being finalised so shooting can start soon.

Madhur chooses Marilyn over Madhubala
Eva Gardner, Marilyn Monroe and Vivien Leigh — these are the three legendary Hollywood beauties whom director Madhur Bhandarkar will use as reference points for Kareena Kapoor’s character in Heroine.
To make her job easier, Madhur has prepared a 3-hour documentary on these Hollywood greats. But no female legends from Indian cinema find mention in the documentary.
Counters Madhur, “Take Vivien Leigh — her stormy relationship with Sir Laurence Olivier is so eventful, dramatic and romantic. Unfortunately there’s no substantial footage on Madhubala or Meena Kumari revealing their relationship with Kishore Kumar and Kamal Amrohi respectively.”
The filmmaker says he is appalled by the lack of even written records about Indian screen legends. “I do want Kareena to refer back to our great actresses like Madhubala, Nargis and Nutan. I think Kareena has elements of Nutan’s personality. But I can only brief her verbally about them. It’s really sad. Kareena is shooting for Ra.One and Gol Maal 3. Once she’s done, she will watch the documentary repeatedly,” says Madhur, adding that the shooting of Heroine has been pushed to December so that Kareena gets time to study the documentary carefully.

Mugdha Godse loves being at her own pace
After making an impressive debut in FASHION, Mugdha Godse enjoyed the release of two her films - ALL THE BEST and JAIL - almost back to back. However, ever since then, she hasn't seen a release to her name. While it has been close to six months since the release of these films, Mugdha's HELP is a little while away. Doesn't she ever feel that a prolonged absence like this could be harmful to one's career?
"Yes, it did play in my mind but not for much time", Mugdha says after a pause, "But then as you also must be aware, there are so few projects that anyways kick started in the film industry last year. So many films have either stopped shooting or are completed but stuck for release. There are lot of things happening today and these are slightly fickle times. The thing is that since ALL THE BEST and JAIL released within a fortnight of each other, people feel that I have been missing from the scene for six months. If there was a gap of three months between the two films, the pace would have looked just perfect."

In any case I was so busy with other things as well other than shooting. There were award functions, performances and appearances as well. So as you can see, the other side of an actor's life was pretty much on". Mugdha brings on a laugh before signing off.

Looks like whatever happens, happens for the best. Mugdha Godse, who had a car accident on Wednesday, had one little thing to gain from it – she got her ex-boyfriend, model/actor Mithun Purandare into her life again. Though they aren't dating again, they have been spending time together.
She relied on Mithun for help when she was in trouble after the accident. As she barely has any close friends in Mumbai, she didn't know what she wanted to do when the accident turned into a police case.
She realized she needed a man with her as there was a chance of things going against her. That's when she thought of Mithun. This is the first time she got back in touch with Mithun after their breakup last year.
Mugdha and Mithun became friends when they met for the shooting of a music video directed by Jagdish Mali in 2003. They dated for about five years until their split in 2009.

The supernatural thriller is now complete and its first look will be unveiled during an awards event in June. Directed by debutant Rajeev Virani and produced by Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey, Help was shot in Mumbai and Mauritius. It is slated for a July release.

Mugdha is Madhur's discovery
Actress Mugdha Godse was recently in Delhi to walk the ramp for designer Ranna Gill. It was when we were talking to Ranna about Mugdha that she told us that the actress was discovered by director Madhur Bhandarkar on Ranna’s runway.
She said, “Mugdha was part of a show of mine. There was a bit of a ‘ooh’ moment when I came out and asked the girls ‘Who can wear a bikini?’. Because in those days, it was very difficult to get a ramp model to model a bikini. But Mugdha readily agreed and said she’d do it. She wore it and walked so confidently on the ramp that Madhur spotted her. He said she looks gorgeous and decided to cast her in his film.”
Well, that’s luck by chance, we say!

Mugdha Godse Bobby Deol is a thorough gentleman
Mugdha Godse has been enjoying a reasonably good success rate in the industry ever since she stepped into the world of films with FASHION a year and a half back. The film was a hit and so was ALL THE BEST which released last Diwali. Her other release JAIL didn't do well commercially but was critically acclaimed, hence giving Mugdha something to cheer about. However, she surprised quite a few when she signed a horror film HELP opposite Bobby Deol.
Now Bobby hasn't seen a box office success for years and since the makers of HELP are relatively newcomers as well, Mugdha's decision made quite a few sit up and react. "Honestly speaking, it is the script of HELP which attracted me a lot", says Mugdha who is gearing up for the release of HELP, "Also, when it comes to Bobby, he has his own legacy. Working with Deols is always good fun. I have always been a big fan of Dharamji and Sunny. They have a class of their own. Bobby too is so sorted in his own way. He is a thorough gentleman and a very nice co-star to work with." Still, didn't she ever feel that it may not be the best decision after all since the junior-most Deol doesn't quite have a good market in the industry today?
"Well, as for his market value then everyone has good and bad times. It is a matter of one Friday that can change your destiny. What one should look at is the script because this is what is of paramount importance. Even in the past, whenever a film has worked, that has happened because of script and not due to the stars. Of course stars do help when it comes to opening but beyond that it's the script that works", reasons Mugdha. HELP is looking at release around June/July.
